1. An artificial satellite launched : ISRO.
An artificial satellite 'PSLV-C43' was sent from Andhra Pradesh under the surveillance of ISRO. The satellite took off from satush dhawan space center on Thursday morning. The new satellite of ISRO ' PSLV-C43' landed safely along with HISSS & 30 other satellites. HISSS stands for Hyper spectral imaging satellite but the scientists gave a short name called 'chota bhim' . The count down for launching of the satellite started from Wednesday morning. On Thursday at 9:58 the satellite along with its 30 satellites departed for universe.
It is informed that the satellite will take a time period of around 3 Hours. The distance between the earth boundary & satellite is 636 Km. By the hardwork of the scientists of ISRO for long 5 years they concluded by making the light satellite, net weight 380Kg . It's life period is also 5 years.
I has been informed that it will take about 5-7 hours to leave the satellites in space. Out of all the satellites - HISSS will surveillance over Earth. Earlier this year in the month of January another satellite ' PSLV-C40' was launched along with 31 satellites.

3. Man Held For Drugging Passengers.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested a
septuagenarian Identifled as Subhas
Das who used to drug
people in passenger trains
along with his gang at New
Bongaigaon In Bongaigaon district on Thursday at
around 1.20 am. Accoriling to RPF, Das hails from Barpeta
works with a gang that
drugs passsengers in trains and then loots their valuable
items. " We were on a
look out for this gang for a long
time. Last night we
received information that 2 passengers became senseless
inside Kamakhya-Dhubri
passenger train,” said a RPF personal. Das confessed
and said that he mixed
drugs in biscuits which he
offered to passengers by
befriending them. We worked with
two others as well. The
RPF personal informed about
the modus operandi of
the gang and added, lie used
to carry a biscuit packet
which was not spiked with
drugs and ate in front of
the pas.sengers to win their
trust,”added.
4. Man to get job for averting train accident.
Tripura government has decided to reward Swapan Debbarna. The
45yearold daily wage earner, who had risked his
life along with his daughter to avert a major train accident
in June this year, at
Atharamura hill range. The government will
employ Debbarma at the
Sports and Youth Affairs
department. The state government has
decided to relax qualification
eligibility for the 4 year old man. Law Minister Ratan
lal Nath said that the decision was taken by the council of
ministers in a meeting on
Wednesday. Nath said, this would
encourage others to extend support to others and distress.The
government had promised Debbarma
ajob for his selfless act of bravery.
According to the
employment rules in Tripura, a
scheduled tribe candidate
should have passed at least
class five to secure a government job.
This criteria Has been relaxed
by the cabinet for Swapan Debbaram who
has
studied only till
class three. Nath said, adding that the state government has aslo agreed to
sponsor

Debbarma and his minor daughter Sumati Debbarma. On June15. due to heavy rains,

daughter In the morning. He had come out of his hut to collect

heard the whistle ofa train approaching from Ambassa, he and his daughter, who had
been with him all the while
started running towards it. waving a piece of cloth he was
wearing. The loco driver was alarmed by
the duo signalling at him to stop the train. which was
carryIng 1200 pasenser, Both father and
daughters
were recommended for
gallantry award. They were rewarded with huge cash and
kinds by, sevceral organisations and individuaIs in past six months and were accorded grand
reception in the central program of this year’s Independence Day celebration, "The courageous
action of Swapan and his daughter is a learning lesson for all of us. The society runs today
to protect individual intert and safety. But Swapan along
with his minor daughter did a splendor and appeared to be an eye-opener for the
society." Nath said.
