Online Admission Notice for TDC 1st YEAR CLASSES (Both Day & Morning Section) FOR THE SESSION 2019-20
It is for information to all concerned that online process of admission to TDC 1st year (Arts, Science, Commerce and BBA) for the academic session 2019-20 will be started from 10/06/2019 (11:00 A.M.) and to be continued upto 16/06/2019 (6:00 P.M.).
The intending students having the eligibility criteria are directed to go through the Gurucharan College Website www.gurucharancollege.ac.in and upload their required particulars such as recent photograph, self-attested copies of their last
admit card, mark sheet, pass certificate, caste certificate in case of reserve category, Gap Certificate (if any) and sports/culture/NCC certificate (if any) etc. Step by step through the online system carefully and after that the students are directed to submit a set of print copy of the uploaded form/particulars and all enclosures along with original copies of the same at the time of verification/counseling for admission in Gurucharan College scheduled as under.

INSTRUCTIONS
i) Eligibility criteria and cut-off percentage is relaxable - 05% for SC and ST category and 10% for outstanding Sports Persons NCC Cadets proficiency in cultural activities wards of the employees of the college as per DHE, Assam guideline vide no. G (B) Misc. 75/2014/4 dated 06-06-2014 and also 10% for the students it they opt for certain subjects i.e. Elective Assamese Elective
Hindi Elective Manipuri/ Elective Persian/ Elective Sanskrit in TDC I Arts. However, a candidate can claim relaxation in cut-off percentage only in any one of the above mentioned criteria.
ii)Since it is online system of admission, all the intending eligible students are directed to complete the process of admission within the stipulated period of date and time, as the system (admission portal) will be automatically closed after the last date and no further request will be entertained.
iii) Scheme for waiver of admission fee/ tuition fees etc for students taking admission in TDC lst year in 2019-20 session will be considered as per the DHE’s, Assam guideline vide No.DHE PEN/Misc 171 2019 36 dated 29 05/2019, subject to checking and verification of their parents valid income certificate etc by the admission/ scrutiny committee. Further, the students whose parents annual income is less than 2.00 lakh from all sources and neither of the parent (mother or father) is working in the State Central Semi Govt, undertaking may be considered for the scheme. Such students are to upload valid income certificate from the local revenue circle officer only and also to give an undertaking available in the college website and also more to give a colour photograph of a sapling (tree) that to be planted at his her college or at his/her home and has to nurse the same, which should be uploaded along with the other documents and to submit a set of print copy of the uploaded income certificate and undertaking along with the original copy of the same at the time of verification/' counseling.
iv)Valid gap certificate in case of Gap students to be uploaded and a print copy of the same to be submitted at the time of verification along with the original copy. Further, @ 2% per gap year will be deducted as per prevailing norms of the admission.
v)Selection list will be prepared on merit basis subject to availability of seats.
vi) No change of subject and combination will be entertained after admission.
vii) Subject combination/ Combination no, amount of fees (approx) and all other general information are given in the college prospectus (2019-20) available in the college website.
viii) Decision of the admission committee will be final and binding,
ix) Admission committee reserves the right to any changes, if required.
