Drunk father set fire to his daughter's body: Daughter struggling between LIFE & DEATH.
Father splash kerosene on the sleeping girl's body and set fire. The incident took place in Dudhpatil Nath para. The girl is currently struggling with life lying in bed at Silchar Medical College & Hospital. The victim's mother, Jyotsna Nath, has filed a complaint against her husband to the police yesterday at malugema police station.
According to her, the father of the accused, Tushar Kanti Nath, splashed kerosene on the body of his daughter Parmitha Nath at around 11 pm on Monday, which burned 85% of her body. Another girl who was lying beside her, started shouting & called her mother, Jyotsna Nath. Hearing this the neighbors came running & tried to catch the man but some how alcoholic Nath managed to escape from his home.
On query, Jyotsna Nath told the police that her husband Tusha does not do any activities, after getting drink. The girl and herself (Jyotsna) earn money by running a family shop. She did not want to give money that day, so he got angry & left the house. But they don't know from where he got money & got drunk and set fire to her daughter at night.
Police investigation is underway. However, there is no news of the arrest so far.
