FEE WAIVER PROTEST AT BADARPUR CIRCLE OFFICE BY NABIN CHANDRA COLLEGE STUDENTS AND Barak Valley Fee Waiver demand Commitee
BADARPUR : A protest march was held in Badarpur today by Barak Valley Fee Waiver demand Commitee and Nabin Chandra College Students. Demanding for the release of Fee Waiver for poor students. The procession started from Nabin Chandra College, Police Point and straight went to Circle Office at Badarpur ,Where students gave various slogans & After seeing the situation, the Madam officer of Circle Office Badarpur came to them and the students handed over the memorandum to her. Students in all districts of Barak have long been protesting against the new circular in Barak, demanding the termination of the ban on non-admission of poor students in the backdrop of excuses, why the Assam government is not responding despite sending a memorandum repeatedly demanding free admission of students from poor families? the struggle committee and the students says at the end of the procession If the government does not concede our demands, Then on 26 July we will take up the program of Dispur campaign, calling for the presence of students from all colleges in Barak. So in future, the student movement will take a different form, if there is any chaos and turmoil in Assam. The district administration will be responsible for that.
