Acid Attack In Badarpur Accused Mintu Das Surrendered Himself to Police
The Prime Accussed in the Badarpur Acid Attack incident Mintu Das (27) Surrendered to Police on Thrusday Night. Mintu Das had thrown Acid on August 16 on a Girl of Patharkhandi Village at Badarpur in Karimganj District.
The girl has been admitted to Srigauri government hospital for treatment.
He has done so because of rejecting his courtship Proposal. Investigating Officer H.K. Singh said Police had gone to Mintu's house many times to arrest him and finally he surrendered around 9;30 PM on Thrusday night. A case under Sections 294 (obscene acts and songs), 326A (causing grievous hurt by throwing acid) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC was registered. Mintu was produced before a court on Friday
