Delay in publishing TDC results: Movement in front of the university by ABVP.
August 6: Students union of Assam University started a movement against the administration for delaying of result. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishod (ABVP) along with other students of different colleges of Barak Valley supported this & started a movement.
As the administration is not able to declare the results of even semester so the students Union started the movement. Also at the month of July the members of ABVP submitted a memorandum to the vice-chancellor of AUS. According to this they should declare the results within 45 days of the examination. Also the final year students suffer the most as they are unable to take admission to any institution- they said.
So, in order to declare the results within the time period & also for fair results they started the movement. They also said that if University is unable to give any further notice about the declaration of results the movement will take an extreme form.
