Karimganj Man commits suicide, in worrying of loosing his wife to detention Camp of NRC.
30 August, Karimganj : Fearing the exclusion of his wife Namita's name from the final NRC list. 48-year-old Priti Bhushan Dutta, a resident of Ratabari, committed suicide on Thursday& following this he was suffering from mental trauma, He committed suicide by hanging himself in the verandah of his house North Karimganj Congress MLA Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha called on the family of Dutta and hit out the ruling regime of Assam. He held both the state and Central governments responsible for Dutta's death.

“This happened because Namita hails from Tripura. After her marriage, she settled at Ratabari’s Bajarghat area,” Dey Purkayastha added. However, in a bid to get all the relevant documents.
