1. Jonas, Priyanka are Man and Wife.




Actor Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick  Jonas wedding took place at Jodhpurs Umaid Bhawan Palace on Saturday evening.The couple exchanged vows are per the Christian rituals, which was officiated by Nick’s father Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. Priyanka wore a custom Ralph Lauren wedding gown and Nick wore a suit by the same designer; their wedding bands were from Chopard. Priyanka and Nick’s wedding comes four months after the couple got engaged in a private ceremony at Priyanka’s residence In Mumbai. 2. Bail for two in APSC scam. 



In a latest development, the Gauhati High court granted bail to two accused in the cash for-job scam of the APSC, namely Kaushik Kalita and Kunal Das on Saturday. APS officer Kalita who was posted as DSP of the 26th Assam Police (India Reserve) Battalion at Mmkarhar, and ACS officer Das were booked with additional charges for serving as brokers in the APSC scam. 


3. ASSAM GIRL DIES IN ISRAEL : ORGANS MISSING.




A girl from Udalguri district m Assam died in Israel’s Tel Aviv on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Neha Sharma. daughter of Pushkar Raj Sharma from Merabil. Udalguri. As in the affidavit, submitted by Neha Sharma, at Noida in Uttar Pradesh she had gone to israel to work as a caregiver. Inspector General of Dethi Police, Robin Hibu was informed about the death by one Jessica Thanjam of Manipur who is working In IsraeL Later IG Hibu used the Facebook to get in touch with the family members. “Miss Neha Sharma from Merabil, Assam has died In Israel at Tel Aviv today. Her parent/relatives ncNxI to be informed to bring back her dead body.” Robin Hibu. In his statcm*nt. said that she is admitted to a hospital in Tel Aviv after complaining of breathlessness. She died the day after. lie also noted that many of her organs were missing. Hibu suspects that this could be a case of organ trafflcking. The Udalguri Deputy Commissioners  has been informed and Hibu has assured full help and cooperation in Delhi.



4. Explosion in intercity train, 3 injured.



At least  three persons were injured after a blast from moving passenger train at Assams Harisinga station on Saturday, officials said. A senior railway official said the blast occurred in Rangiya.Dekargaon passenger train at Harisinga station of Rangiya division of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR). The official said as of now no casualties have been reported. The train is cuurently detained at Haristhga station,” said an NFR official.




5. Serpents’ spooky show causes panic in Karimganj.





In a strange incident, a large number of snakes came out from a portion of land at Nivia in Karimganj district on Saturday. Sources said few residents saw snakes coming out this morning from a land at Nivia under Ratabari constituency. around 112km from Silchar. It appeared that the serpents came out from the roots of a tree, which was chopped many years ago. The news went viral as villagers in huge numbers gathered on the spot. A total of 28 snakes had come out from the land. The reptiles were still coming out, as per last available reports. The incident sent chills down local people’s spine, who barricaded the site with bamboos and ropes. A red cloth was placed on the spot and pujas were perfornwd and hymns were chanted. Some of the villagers speculated that the incident took place because of anger of Goddess Blshahari. A similar incident had occurred in that area many years ago. The situation was brought under control after performing pujas
at that time, they said.
