Cachar district administration promised to give 2 lakh rupees to the family of Malin Sharma who died on 28th july in the tragedic road accident. In a conference with the journalists, at the circuit house, DC of Cachar Laya Madduri promised to give this amount.

They promised to give 20 lakh rupees to the family under pressure.

On the other hand a contractual job at any govt. Office has been offered to Mrs. Sharma & DC of cachar took the responsibility of his daughter's education till HS at Silchar KV. Also said that she will arrange everything in order to get 5 lakh rupees from  Chief minister public Funding for the family.

Along with it some private & govt. Organisations & banks also took the responsibility of Malin's daughter.

Additional SP, Jagadish Das promised that Within 12 hours the main culprit of the incident i.e, the driver of that particular tipper  will be arrested &  license will be cancelled & also will be punished under 302 clause.  He also said that on 31st July, Wednesday there is an important meeting with the Traffic Adviser Board for the improvements in the traffic control of the town. According to the new law the tippers are permeable between 1Am to 4Am. He also said that at night trucks & other Vehicles should have a limit of 40KMPS.  cachar district administration has given a proposal for the installation of CCTV camera in the road. 

The Journalist Organisation of silchar protest that why no arrangements has been done by the police force at Sunday night? Why the crushed parts of the body of Malin Sharma was left all alone at the road? Why the municipal car took the leftover body parts as garbage? Why the body was left at the road for some hours instead the fire station & the Tarapur police post was so near!

If the administration would have informed all the police posts the culprit would have arrested that very night. This is the negligence of the administration. 

All the demands of the journalist has been agreed. Elder brother of Malin Sharma was present along with the journalist & DC of cachar. Also the journalists of Katigar were also present. DC of cachar promised that the traffic control of silchar will be improved & also took the responsibility  for the safety of silchar people.
