Silchar: Ramanuj Gupta Degree College has added another leather in its cap by
initiating B.Sc. course programme at an induction programme held at the College here on Monday. It is the first Assam University affiliated private educational institute to have earned this unique distinction. Even in its nascent stage, the College is scaling new heights. The ascent of the premier institution can be
attributed to its exemplary set of sheer genius and dedicated teachers, staff and students who are working relentlessly in taking the College to newer heights. So far. more than 25 students have taken admission in B.Sc. course programme.

The need of the hour is to prepare projects and conduct researches based on science and technology. Evidence based researches are need now. The structure should 
change for good. I will contest the education policy of 1835. A change is inevitable. Our history, tradition, culture and custom are not fully reflected in 
the education system, said Rajdeep Roy.
