Road mishap at kolartol, Udharbond; 1 died, 2 injured.
03 September, Udharbond/Silchar : [Bikram Das] : A woman died in a road mishap at Kolartol, (Udharbond Mahasarak) Monday night. The deceased was identified as Mani Laskar (42), wife of Saju Laskar, a resident of Madhurband. Two more people were injured. They were Mani Lashkar's partner Lily Begum (55) and Sonai resident Manna Malakar (42). Lily Begum is reported to be undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College when Manna Malakar was released after initial treatment.
According to the report, an auto-rickshaw carrying a passenger from Udharbond. On its way to silchar at around 7pm on Monday, an auto-rickshaw collided with a passenger on the kolartol area under Udharbond PS, striking behind a tripper standing in front of the Mahindra show room in the kolartol area. Three passengers were injured in the accident.
