Social Services Gets Priority In The Centenary Celebration of Ambicapur Purba Para.
Only 23 days left for puja. Work on some of the pavilions has begun. But the puja that is now a milestone, their activities are a little higher.
10 Sept, Silchar [360 Desk] : Ambicapur Purbopara & Hospital Road Sarbojonin Durga Puja Committee,Silchar located on Ambikapatti Hospital Road Tematha Road have no permanent place of worship. However, there is no shortage of incentives even though the range is low. The puja committee has been formally launched for the decoration of the Centenary Pavilion. Their pavilion decoration began way too early in an exceptional way. It will be decorated by famous Artist Sujit Paul.
Although the range is low, it is planned to make a beautiful pavilion. Many elderly bodies were present at the conference of the Pujo Committee including Asmanj Biswas, General Secretary Tamala Kanti Banik, and members of various sub-committees including the editorial congregation.
This committee is not only celebrating Durga puja year after year but also have responsibilities towards the society. They also have a focus on ensuring that every human being can grow healthy.
This Traditional Ambikapatti East Para and Hospital Road Durga Puja Committee of Silchar is celebrating hundred years of their worship. Through various footprints they are trying to make this event a grand success. From time to time various programs have been taken up by the committee.
An extraordinary initiative was taken by the Pujo Committee this Independence Day. On that day, the committee organized a free blood test camp by creating a temporary tent at Ambikapatti Point. These include blood sugar, gupping test, AFT, lipid profile test , hepatitis B, creatinine, hepatitis B, Antibiotic level test. This camp sustained for 2hours (8:30-10:30). Approximately 134 people got their blood tests done. At the eve of the above mentioned date a culture program was organised by the committee.
They also organised a free health check-up for sixty-six seniors in the presence of distinguished physician at local "Maa Bhavan" Ambikapatti from 9.30am on Sunday September 7th. List of distinguished physicians :
