1.Again hijackers incident in city, 5 lakh rupees, 3 imprisoned.
Again, hijacking events took place in Silchar. mysteriously 5 lakh rupees disappeared from the Silchar, ambicapatty area on Saturday night. This is the 3rd incident of hijacking from the past 3-4 days in the city.
3 people were imprisoned by cachar police on that matter. The imprisoned person were masuk Ahmed and mamon ahmed of katighora, sairul Islam of sonai. A person Named Baharul Alam Laskar of bologram, dholai area filed a deposition on Silchar Sadar police station says oc Ditumoni Goswami.
It has been known that Masuk Ahmed is a shop worker of business man Baharul Alam Laskar. According to Baharul, masuk went to katigorah with sairul to bring 5 lakh rupees from a person. They reach in ambicapatty area ,near a shop. The bag was hanging on the bike. At that time masuk went to nearby shop for his work. After returning from his work he felt worried by looking that the bag and sairul was missing.
He Immediately informed Baharul after lots of searching for Sairul and the bag.
It was informed to police later on.
The police rescued sairul on Ramnagar on that night where he was found to be unconscious.
Sairul tells police that someone kidnapped him from ambicapatty when police asks him about the matter. He says at the time when masuk was in the shop.
The whole incident is mysterious , after taking statement of sairul and masuk in a daze says police.
2. 306 cylinder loaded truck missing from Silchar rongpur.
The incident took place on Silchar rongpur at Saturday night near Assam oil petrol pump, rongpur.306 loaded unfilled cylinder unruly from the place.
A report has been put on Rongpur P.P. by the owner of the van Supriya saha. H/O Songram Roy residence of Rongpur saradamani Lane.
The owner says the van long time use to go borkhola bottoling filling station and comes with loaded of cylinder to Mizoram.
The van often stops near the rongpur assam oil petrol pump.
At Saturday 9 pm the van stops as always near the pump. With 30 unfilled loaded cylinder. The driver nun Hussain went to his home. Leaving the handyman on the van.
The owner shocked on next morning as van unruly from the place and gave a report to the police.
After investigation the police rushed to the handyman's residence at sonabarighat and imprisoned him.
He says that on Saturday midnight , some unknown people came and attacked him and takes the van force fully. And leaves him out of the city from the van on a dark area. Police couldn't found any information about the van till Sunday evening.
The van has been taken between 12 am to 1am from the cc tv footages of the Assam oil petrol pump but no miscreants were identified on the footages of cc tv.
Police investigation is still continuing.
3.A tobacco free society has been organised by the students of GC college NSS silchar.
Dr. Apratim Nag , the program Co-ordinter of NSS unit delivered a motivational speech about the awareness regarding tobacco. He said that 5 years before the students of GC college has taken oath to develop the backward areas of Itkhala . From then onwards they are trying there best to make there Moto a grand success.
President , Jyotilal choudhoury said that they are trying there level best to introduce the students of that area with new college.
Atlast, they ended the program by introducing the people about the harmful effects of tobacco inhalation.
4.Uproar After Stray Dog Rescued From Silchar Duo.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged with Silchar Sadar Police Station against two persons for allegedly trying to sell a stray dog in Silchar. The persons identified as Ialmounpui Thiek (35)and Grace Mgurte (28) hail from Fulertal under Lakhimpur constituency in cachar district.
According to the

kept inside a bag near a
roadside
market at Jail Road
on Saturday afternoon.''The mouth and legs
of the canine were tied
up with a rope''. the FIR stated.
Suspicious by the
duo’s body language. some
local youths approached
them and asked to open
the bag to
which the duo
refused and even allegedly
engaged in a verbal spat.

This enhanced the
suspicion of the
youths, who later took them to
Silchar Sadar Police Station
and lodged the
complaint. One of the
eye witnesses who wished
anonymity, alleged that the
persons often used to sell dog
meat to people on the pretext
of selling, other edible meat. About the incident,
the eye-witness said
there were three persons. of
which on fled. The news of the incident has been making
the rounds on social
media
with people In large
numbers posting
pictures and videos of the entire
episode

after bodybuilder Golap Rabha once again
excelled in the international spoils
arena by bagging two gold medals in
the Mr. Universe 2018 and pro Mr.
Asia 2018, which was held at Pattaya in
Thailand on November 24 and 25, 2018.
Rabha. a resident of Kaliabari village in Boko under Kamrup district, won
the gold medals in the 80 kilograms category of both the
events. Earlier, in the month of October, the bodybuilder
had brought laurels to the state with three gold medals at
the World Fitness Federation (WFF) and World Body
Building Federation (WBBF) Amber Prix Championships held
at Iithuania.Rabha started his body. building career in
2003 under .liten KaIlta at Boko in Assam.Celebrations began
in Boko after the news of his achievement was out.
