Dhaga takes off journey at silchar amid colourful cultural bonanza.
SILCHAR, 26 July : A Fascinating evening has been bought to us by team Dhaga. The inaugural ceremony of Yava Era has been organised by team Dhaga on 26th July 2019. Yuva Era means ' Time of Youth'. Team Dhaga has grouped a crowd of youths who will work for the local people of Barak Valley & also people of different areas irrespective of race, caste, relegion, looks, status etc.
The guests of honour on the occasion who have sacrifised their valuable time for team Dhaga were -
• Sarbani Bhattacharjee (Folk artist of international level).
• Ajay Roy (General Secretary of Sammilito Sanaskritik Mancha).
• Ajay Chakrabarty (secretary of Madhya Sahar).
• Joydeep Chakraborty (Socio-cultural worker).
• Mithu Nath (cultural personality).
The program started with the Ganesh Bandana followed by Uttamasha. After that everyone got mesmerized by the melodious voice of Aniket Barua. There after comes the solo dance performance by two very talented artists- Surobhi Banik & Sainik Gupta.
To chear up the environment Vivek Sonar & group performed a Beatboxing , after that solo dance performed by Saurav Sinha & Nikita Dutta. Also everyone appreciated the duet dance performed by Bhageshwari & Madhurima. After all the dance performances we all got hypnotized by song sung by Annesha Dey & Krishna Sen Gupta.
In contrast to all the dances & songs Akshay Dey bought to us "Shayeri" which we all enjoyed whole heartedly. Madly Bangali a band organised by the street boys of silchar city, who performed a strong & energetic performance.
After that the felicitation ceremony started with the lightning of the lamps by the honourable guests & the members of team Dhaga. The secretary & other members of team Dhaga honoured the guests with Uttariya.
All the guests kept forward a short speech about the program & blessed the team so that they could successfully implement the Moto of their program.
At first Mr. Ajay Chakrabarty honoured the 20 brave soldiers who were maytered in the Kargil war & congratulated team Dhaga who worked exceptionally well & also added that whatever be the situation he will always be there for them.
As the lights focused on Mrs. Sarbani Bhattacharjee, she blessed all the young members of team Dhaga & appreciate them. When the mic goes to Mr. Joydeep Bhattacharjee, he said that everyone wishes to see not only social but also cultural programs & they will be there for the team whenever needed. After that Mr. Ajay Roy blessed all the members & also added that the fund that will be collected will be donated to the CM relief fund , Army fund, & also to the Family of the maytered soldiers in occasion of Kargil Divas. Mithu Nath also said the same & congratulated everyone.
After that all got mesmerizing by the sound of violin & the dance performed by Shresta Paul & semington Mishra. Team Tarun sangah also performed & make the evening beautiful.
Finally, the main attraction of the eve who entertained us with the strong & powerful performance was Vikramjit Baulia , Mediant & Falkera. Eventually With the performance of Hrijoy kaunango they ended their program.
